The Rev. R. David Gaskill, 60, of Wisconsin died Wed- nesday, Oct. 15, 2008.

Born June 2, 1948, in Bensonville, Ill., he was the son of Raymond and Louisa Gaskill.

The Rev. Gaskill attended Elmhurst College in Illinois, Eden Theological Seminary and St. Louis School of Divinity. He served churches in South Dakota, St. Louis, Fort Wayne, Ind., Black Creek, Wis., Denmark and for the last 17 years at Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Oshkosh, Wis. He was an organ donor. He enjoyed reading, his computer, watching football, the Bears and aerobic swimming.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; one daughter, Elisa Bennett; one son, Keith Gaskill; two grandchildren; and one sister, Bunny Wilson, of Bartlett, Ill.

He was preceded in death by one twin brother and his parents.

The memorial service for the Rev. David Gaskill will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Denmark Congregational United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Barb Koenig officiating. Burial will be in Denmark Cemetery.

Memorials have been established for Denmark Congregational United Church of Christ and Emmanuel United Church of Christ.

King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory in Fort Madison is in charge of local arrangements.

Billie Glyn Northington, 81, of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, at Malden.
Born Sept. 19, 1925, in Campbell, Mo., son of the late Sam Northington and Daisy Grabiel, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in WWII. He was a mechanic and a member of the Malden United Methodist Church.
On July 4, 1948, in Campbell, he married Billie Dean Runnels, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Gary Northington and wife, Kay, of Arnold, Mo., and Glyn Northington, of Minneapolis, Minn.; one brother, Jimmie Northington, of Malden and one sister, Maxine Bailey, of Malden.
He was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 25, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 25, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Hampton officiating.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
Memorials may be made to the Malden United Methodist Church.
